Startup Weekend Auckland, November 2016, is officially complete!

Congratulations to all of our wonderful participants, and thank you to our mentors, organisers, sponsors and VIPs who are supporting and empowering entrepreneurship in Auckland.

This SWAKL saw 120 participants registered, 23 mentors,14 teams formed and around 70 ideas pitched in the areas of Education and Social Enterprise.

Squawk Squad are setting out to save our Native birds from pests and predators by giving everyday New Zealanders the chance to Adopt a Trap. Squawk Squad gamifies notifications of the traps outcomes to engage and incentivise their audience and generates sharing and collaboration with friends and social media.
